As a Salt Lake City Family Photographer, I was so excited to find this incredible little trail in Millcreek Canyon. Everyone in Utah knows that one of the most beautiful times to be in the mountains is when the wildflowers are in bloom. Most of the flowers at this point were gone, but since we went up so high, there were still some left! What a surprise! The wildflowers perfect matched the colorful outfits that Hayley had picked out. It was the perfect palate of neutral with a little pop of color. My favorite!
Having a toddler is tough. Being a toddler is even tougher. Sometimes they are a little hangry. Sometimes they are just sad because… well who knows why? But this is just a natural part of the toddler life, and it is truly beautiful in its own way.
But then you change just the smallest thing, or maybe they have a snack. Maybe just a small break is all they needed. Maybe just some hugs and kisses. In any case, they are just a hot mess one second, and the next second, they are just the cutest, smiliest little thing you’ve ever seen. It’s okay! That’s just how it goes!
By the time we had gone to our second location, the sun had dipped down and it was starting to get dark. Being in the mountains means that instead of the sun setting just beyond the horizon, it’s setting behind the mountains, sometimes much earlier than your sunset time that Google tells you. But the beautiful thing about modern technology is the photos that you can still take even when it’s nearly dark. I thought I’d pull in some before and after photos just to ease your mind and let you know that while this doesn’t happen for every session, we will always be able to get incredible photos of you!

Meet kailee
As someone who wears a lot of hats (wife, momma, nurse, and photographer). I know that those once in a lifetime moments can truly fly by. My mission is to capture those beautiful moments so that you can come back to them years down the road and relive them! The best way to do that if to find out who YOU are and what type of moments YOU treasure the most.
