I met Jessie when I was in college and trying to figure out my life. I remember sitting in her office talking about anything and everything. When I think back to it, I think sitting in there was my version of therapy during college. Both of us are in very different places in our lives, and I like to think that both of us would be pretty pleased with where we are now.

Jessie an incredible writer, and writing this makes me almost…nervous? I mean, even her Facebook posts are beautiful – I still have absolutely no idea how she does it! Some people just have the gift, you know? I’m not that person, so this will be short and sweet:)

I say it was fate.

Blake and Jessie met in Provo, Utah. They met originally through a dating app, and would later find out that they work in the same building at a nearby college! If that’s not fate, I don’t know what is. They hit it off quickly and were soon engaged! We started off taking photos at the location of their wedding reception. It had the most darling building with a pond out front and a couple ducks here and now just swimming along! And then we followed the light to a second location that we had taken photos at before. It was the very first place we had ever taken photos together at! And the light was INCREDIBLE. What a DREAM.

I don’t know that I’ve ever been happier for someone to find their future husband. Jessie is someone who deserves the VERY BEST this world has to offer. When I think of Jessie, I think of someone who would do almost anything to help someone when they need help. I think of someone who has turned all her struggles in life and uses them to learn from and becomes an even better person. I think of someone who is genuine and so so loving.

I’ve looked up to Jessie for years, and I’m so happy that these two found each other. Watching them together just made my soul just sing.
