Tibble Fork Extended Family Session | Utah Family Photographer

Family

Getting together with the Lim family at Tibble Fork for their family session was so much fun! They have the most darling children – and their babies have the chubbiest cheeks. It’s a lot of work to get everyone out in the mountains to get photos, especially with a toddler and babies, but oh my goodness, it’s so worth it!

Here are some tips for your extended family session!

  • Have littles? Have them eat beforehand. They can have little snacks during the session, but having them come with a full belly really helps them be happy at the beginning of the session and snacks keep them that way through the session. A happy toddler is also a happy mom and dad!
  • Dress on Location. Get your littles dressed when you get to the location. Trust me when I say that if you put them in their nice outfits in their car seats, the will probably spill juice or their car snack on them during the ride. Arrive a few minutes early, get them into their outfits and the rest will work out!
  • Neutrals. Choose more neutral colors! The colors the Lim family chose were absolutely perfect! Just as an example though, instead of orange, think rust orange. Instead of red, think burgundy. Those softer tones will help keep the group photo more cohesive.
