I am so excited to be blogging this session because I have been dying to share all the photos from my time with the Wiser Family. Brianne and her husband, Jack, are actually related to past clients of mine, the Crocketts! (The Crocketts are awesome people whose photos I apparently forgot to blog. Oops!) There’s not much that I love more than a client recommendation, so I was so excited to meet the Wiser Family!
The Wisers have two little girls, Lucy and Nora. As you can tell from the photos, they are the most adorable little things! Total sweethearts. We took their photos near a little creek and when I asked the oldest, Lucy, if she wanted to dip her hands in the water and play with her mama, she said “No, I don’t want to get my hands dirty.” How cute is that?
Her response made me giggle to myself because the last session I had was with two little boys who could not get enough of the water! It’s so fun to work with all kinds of families who are beautiful and fun in their own ways.
I really have nothing but good things to say about working with the Wisers. Both girls were so well-behaved and sweet Lucy did such a great job smiling and following directions throughout the session. Baby Nora was just a little angel the whole time. The Wisers are just a picture-perfect family!
We took these family photos in this gorgeous open field that I had been to a few times before, but I was not expecting the area to be flooded with water. Usually, this part of the field is completely dry! We have had lots of rain and melting snow recently, which was most likely the cause of the wet field. Thankfully we still had some dry spots to take photos. The standing water almost looks like a little creek in the background! The whole scene sure made for some beautiful images.
I am so grateful for dependable clients like the Wiser Family– they actually ended up moving between the time when they booked their session and when we got together to shoot! Talk about a busy few weeks! To make it to our session they drove four hours from Idaho, stayed the night, had their photos, then drove back.
It was an absolute joy to work with this family and I am so grateful that they trusted me to capture their photos.

As someone who wears a lot of hats (wife, momma, nurse, and photographer). I know that those once in a lifetime moments can truly fly by. My mission is to capture those beautiful moments so that you can come back to them years down the road and relive them! The best way to do that if to find out who YOU are and what type of moments YOU treasure the most.
